in Men's Major Tournaments

The 2011 Indian Wells Open men’s singles main draw quarter final matches will be played over two days. The top half of the draw plays first on Thursday 17 March followed by the top half of the draw on Friday 17 March.

The round of 16 results set the stage for a possible battle for the No.2 ranking between Roger FEDERER and Novak DJOKOVIC if they both win through to the semi finals. Former World No.5 Tommy ROBREDO made the quarter finals for the second year in a row. 2009 US Open singles champion Juan Martin DEL POTRO continued his resurgence, whilst World No.1 Rafael NADAL is set to play No.239 and former No.14 Ivo KARLOVIC.
