Canada 2010: August 7-22

Pictured above is the centre court at the Rexall Centre at York University in Toronto, Canada. This event was formerly known as the Canadian Open and was first held in 1881. After Wimbledon and the US Open it is the longest running tournament in tennis history.

Now it is known as the Rogers Cup and it is a major tournament for both the men and the women. The men’s event runs from August 7 to 15 and the women’s event runs from August 13 to 22.

This year the Men’s Singles Final will be held on Sunday 15 August in Toronto and the Women’s Singles Final will be in played in Montreal on Sunday 22 August.
