Australian Open 2013 Order of Play: Day 8

Milos RaonicThe 2013 Australian Open singles events have 4 men’s and 4 women’s matches to be played on Day 8 to complete the 4th round and cut the field down to the best 8 performed players in both the men and women’s singles draws. In this post OnCourt Advantage lists the order of play for the eighth day of main draw singles matches (see below) to make it easier for you to know who plays whom and when.

On Day 8 the bottom half of the men’s draw featuring Roger Federer and Andy Murray and the bottom half of the women’s draw starring Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams play their 4th round matches. The letters in brackets after each player’s name is the prefix for the country that player represents. WTA denotes women’s matches and ATP denotes men’s matches.

A sense of déjà vu with Milos RAONIC pictured above at Wimbledon as the young talent up against no need to say more – Roger Federer in the 4th round at a Grand Slam. Federer was in this same position when he upset Pete Sampras at Wimbledon, can Raonic use his firepower to mirror the young Federer’s win over Sampras?
