Atlanta is being held for the fourth time since beginning in 2010 and is being played at the Atlantic Station in Atlanta, Georgia. The centre court holds 5,000 spectators with the tournament being played on Deco-Turf hard courts. The total prize money for this 2013 ATP event is $546,930 of which $98,700 will be awarded to the men’s singles champion.
The 2012 men’s singles champion was No.4 seed Andy Roddick who defeated Gilles Muller in the final 1-6, 7-6(7-2), 6-2 to win his 32nd and final ATP singles title before the former World No.1 and US Open singles champion retired at the 2012 US Open.
