Australian Open Men’s Singles Results:
The 3rd round singles matches have been completed in the men’s singles event at the 2010 Australian Open. In the 4th round or round of 16 as it also known, only 16 players remain.
These 16 players are guaranteed 89,000 Australian dollars in prize money and 180 ATP ranking points for making the round of 16. Those players who were knocked out in the 3rd round took home 52,000 Australian dollars. The best performed Wild Card and Qualifier are still alive in the draw but meet each other in the 4th round.
The following is the list of players who are still undefeated, who they play next and which part of the draw they are in. Below you will find the seeded players whose names have a line drawn through them because they were defeated in that section of the draw. The player’s name that is bolded is OCA’s prediction of who will win.

Pictured above is No.7 seed Andy Roddick whilst he is preparing for his forehand drive. The 27 year old American was a runner-up at Wimbledon in 2009 going down 14 games to 16 in the 5th set to Roger Federer.
Roddick must be burning deep inside to make his latest Grand Slam final a victorious one by winning the 2010 Australian Open. Roddick has made the semi finals of the Australian Open 4 times (2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009). If Roddick does win he would break the longest drought in the Open-era for an American man to win a Grand Slam singles title.
