Grand Slam Tournaments

There are 4 Grand Slam tournaments each year for both the men’s (ATP) and women’s (WTA) professional tennis tours.

The 2012 Grand Slam tournament calendar in date order is:

1. January 11-29, 2012: Australian Open in Melbourne, Australia - 2012 Schedules of Play: Women’s and Men’s.

2. May 22-June 10, 2012: Roland Garros in Paris, France - 2012 Schedules of Play: Women’s and Men’s.

3. June 18-July 8, 2012: Wimbledon in London, United Kingdom. 2011 Schedules of Play: Women’s and Men’s.

4. August 23-September 12, 2012: US Open in New York, USA. 2011 Schedules of Play: Women’s and Men’s.

The dates above represent the time frame for the entire tournament including the qualifying tournament dates. The schedules of play links above, which are in red and underlined, provide detailed information on what rounds are played on each day, at what time, the ranking points and prize money earned for each round.
